Expedition Cruise Academy – Terms and Conditions of Course Registration
1. Introduction
By registering for and accessing any course on the Expedition Cruise Academy platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with your registration.
2. Use of the Platform
The Expedition Cruise Academy is a training platform provided by the Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) for the purpose of educating travel advisors about expedition cruising. Access to the platform is intended solely for professional development and training purposes.
3. User Eligibility
To register for courses, you must be a travel industry professional. ECN reserves the right to verify eligibility and deny access to users who do not meet the criteria.
4. Data Collection and Communication
By signing up, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for course access, progress tracking, and communications related to your training.
We may share your data with the relevant course providers (expedition cruise operators and ECN partners) for the purposes of delivering training and monitoring engagement.
You also agree to receive newsletters, updates, and promotional communications from ECN. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails.
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to videos, presentations, documents, and logos, are the intellectual property of ECN and/or its content partners. These materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, or used for any other purpose without prior written consent.
6. Platform Access and Availability
ECN will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the platform is accessible at all times. However, access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues. ECN accepts no liability for any interruption or loss of access.
7. Completion and Certificates
Some courses may offer certificates of completion. These certificates do not constitute formal accreditation but serve as a recognition of participation and completion.
8. Modifications to Courses or Terms
ECN reserves the right to modify or discontinue any course, and to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
9. Termination of Access
ECN reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you violate these Terms and Conditions or misuse the platform in any way.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
